Breeanna Horton

Breeanna Horton, MBA/HA, MSW, LCSW

Clinical Supervisor, Owner, Founder · LCSW-19377

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Clinical Supervisor | Owner of The Psychology Lab

Breeanna Horton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with dual master's degrees in social work and business management, with a concentration in Health Administration. She is a board-approved clinical supervisor through the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and provides clinical supervision to both pre-licensed professionals and associate licensed professionals within the outpatient treatment center The Psychology Lab, as well as for supervisees at various agencies throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Breeanna began her professional journey in the mental health field as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in 2018 and earned her clinical licensure and supervision credentials in 2020. In 2021, she opened The Psychology Lab, a private practice rooted in evidence-based care, trauma-informed principles, and client-centered approaches. As of April 2025, The Psychology Lab is now a department of health and safety outpatient treatment center. The decision to shift from a private practice to an outpatient treatment center was rooted in wanting to create more opportunities to help people address their mental health needs.

Her clinical specialties include trauma and post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, and couples therapy. Breeanna is particularly passionate about working with individuals who feel emotionally disconnected, isolated, or are seeking deeper relational intimacy. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in cultivating connection and fostering emotional resilience. She integrates a variety of modalities including Brainspotting, Polyvagal Theory, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), somatic interventions, Gottman Method for couples, and Narrative Therapy.

Breeanna's mission is to support healing and transformation through a relational, strengths-based lens that honors the whole person - body, mind, and story.

Outside of her professional work, Breeanna enjoys spending time with her large and lively family, which includes her husband, five children, two dogs, two cats, and - depending on the week - more horses than she'd care to admit. Her home is always filled with energy, laughter, and the occasional chaos that comes with a full house. In her downtime, she can be found horseback riding, enjoying a quiet moment with a book - either a heartfelt romance or a compelling work of psychological science.

Licensure #23352

I believe that one of the most powerful parts of therapy is having someone who truly listens. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where we can work together to navigate life's challenges and build the skills and confidence needed to move forward.

I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in psychology and my Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals across a variety of settings. My experience includes supporting residents in group homes as they navigated trauma, anxiety, emotional challenges, and the transition back into everyday life.

I have also worked with teenagers, helping them better understand and manage their emotions during difficult stages of development.

Currently, I serve as a crisis responder, providing support to individuals experiencing anxiety, hopelessness, emotional distress, and other life challenges. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and believe that meaningful change begins by working collaboratively with each client. Whether you are looking to build coping skills, regain motivation, or have a space where you feel heard and supported, I strive to meet you where you are and help you move toward your goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature and traveling whenever I have the opportunity. I believe that balance, connection, and personal growth are important both inside and outside the therapy room.

Elizabeth Pimentel

Elizabeth Pimentel, Masters in Psychology

Bilingual Therapist (English/Spanish)

I earned my master's degree in psychology and have spent years working as a full-time English Language Development teacher, supporting students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. My experiences in both education and my own journey through therapy have shaped the therapist I strive to be today.

Through my personal experience with therapy, I came to understand the important impact of having someone who truly listens and seeks to understand your story even when it feels difficult to put into words. That experience inspired me to create the same kind of supportive, compassionate space for others. Throughout my teaching career, I have been a trusted source of support for my students, fostering safe, inclusive environments where they felt seen, heard, and valued. I bring that same commitment into my work as a therapist.

My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma informed. I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, accepted, and understood. Together, we'll identify your strengths, explore life's challenges, and develop practical tools that support growth both inside and outside of therapy.

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

My goal is to help clients build healthy coping skills, create sustainable habits, and feel more confident navigating life's challenges.

As a bilingual therapist, I proudly offer services in both English and Spanish, creating an accessible and culturally responsive space for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, or the effects of trauma, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and respect as you work toward healing and lasting change.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, strength training, practicing Pilates, and learning to play the guitar.

Most importantly, I cherish spending quality time with my family. I believe that maintaining balance, nurturing meaningful relationships, and continuing to grow personally allows me to be fully present for the people I serve.

Celeste Ford

Celeste Ford, LAC

LAC-22819 · IOP Intake & Group Therapy

Celeste Ford is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelors in Psychology.

Celeste works specifically in intake counseling for our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and group therapy. Her role is to help clients understand where they are, what they need, and what the next steps in their care should look like before beginning an intensive treatment journey.

Celeste brings a compassionate and naturally curious approach to the intake process. She takes the time to understand the person behind the presenting concerns, while thoughtfully assessing symptoms, history, safety, strengths, and diagnostic considerations to help determine the most appropriate level of care.

Having also facilitated IOP groups herself, Celeste understands the unique challenges that can accompany intensive treatment, including complex mental health concerns, significant life disruption, and circumstances involving court-ordered care. She believes that whether someone enters treatment feeling excited and eager or overwhelmed and resistant, they deserve to be respected, understood, and be given a space to be genuinely listened to.

Celeste sees the intake as the beginning of a collaborative process involving creating a clear understanding of the challenges someone is facing, identifying meaningful goals, and establishing realistic milestones to help an individual be invested in their treatment and measure progress along the way. Her goal is for each person to leave the intake feeling seen, understood, and more prepared for what comes next even when an intake process requires a lot of questions and historical context to explore.

Kayla Cummings

Kayla Cummings, LAC

LAC-23077

Hi there! I'm Kayla Cummings, and I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on trauma from Grand Canyon University. My journey started at Arizona State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a secondary discipline in Human Development. From there, I dove into teaching special education and behavioral education for grades K-8. This experience gave me deep insights into working with children who face trauma, mental health challenges, and behavioral issues.

As a trauma survivor myself, including the profound loss of a partner, I'm deeply passionate about helping both children and adults heal from their pasts and thrive in their lives. I've had the privilege of completing an internship at The Serin Neurohealth Center, where I trained in innovative therapeutic methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and neurofeedback.

Under the mentorship of skilled neuropsychologists and psychologists, I refined my ability to conduct therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents with trauma. My approach is integrative, combining EMDR and play therapy with evidence-based techniques like CBT and DBT.

I've not only led therapy sessions but also have experience administering psychological assessments, facilitating neurofeedback sessions, and developing personalized treatment plans using precise data to encourage client growth and healing.

I'm also dedicated to my own ongoing growth, actively participating in professional associations like the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Arizona Counseling Association (AzCa). These memberships help me stay current with the latest advancements and connect with others in the field to bring the best options to my clients so that they can be the best version of themselves.

In my personal life, I have channeled my love of writing and literature into creating a children's therapy book titled "Felix the Feelings Ferret's EMDR Adventure: A Journey to Happy Memories" which I hope to publish soon. I am also a ferret enthusiast, having a strong affinity for these curious and playful creatures, I often dedicate time and effort to ensure their well-being and happiness. Beyond my passion for ferrets, I love immersing myself in nature. I particularly enjoy spelunking - exploring caves and hiking. I am also quite fond of reading, mostly fantasy and classic literature as well as watching foreign animation. Currently, I am undertaking the task of learning to play the harp so I can add that to my repertoire of hobbies.
