Equine Assisted Therapy is a Transformative Experience

We believe healing can happen in extraordinary ways. Equine Assisted Therapy combines evidence-based psychotherapy with the unique experience of working alongside horses to foster emotional growth, self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change.

Unlike traditional office-based counseling, equine-assisted therapy provides opportunities to experience emotions, relationships, communication, and personal growth in real time. Horses naturally respond to human behavior and emotional energy, offering immediate, honest feedback.

Every session is facilitated by a licensed mental health professional and tailored to each individual's therapeutic goals. No horseback riding experience is necessary, and most therapeutic activities take place on the ground.

Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship challenges, or simply seeking personal growth, The Psychology Lab's Equine-Assisted Therapy offers a unique path toward healing that complements traditional psychotherapy.
